A 25-year-old Portland man was arrested and charged with indecent exposure after exposing himself and urinating in the aisle of a plane headed to Manchester, New Hampshire. The incident caused the plane to divert to Buffalo, New York, where he made an initial appearance in federal court and was released. The man claimed he had a medical urination problem exacerbated by drinking whiskey and colas before and during the flight. The American Eagle flight eventually departed from Buffalo, with American Airlines thanking their team members for their professionalism. The man's federal public defender was sought for comment on the incident.
