British actress and BAFTA Rising Star winner Mia McKenna-Bruce has secured a major role in Netflix's upcoming Agatha Christie series, "The Seven Dials Mystery." Set in 1925, the series follows a country house party turned deadly where McKenna-Bruce's character, Lady Eileen "Bundle" Brent, takes on the role of a detective to unravel a chilling plot. McKenna-Bruce will star alongside Helena Bonham Carter and Martin Freeman, with Chris Chibnall, creator of "Broadchurch," writing the series. Executive produced by Suzanne Mackie of Orchid Pictures and Chris Sussman, the series promises to be a witty, epic, and fast-paced drama. Production is set to begin this summer, marking Orchid Pictures' first series with Netflix. McKenna-Bruce expressed excitement about working with Chibnall and being part of the iconic Agatha Christie storytelling. Her previous work, particularly in "How to Have Sex," has received critical acclaim, setting the stage for her next big role.
