The latest Windows 11 update, KB5039302, was pulled shortly after release due to a bug causing PCs to endlessly reboot. Microsoft recommends entering Safe Mode to address the issue. The bug only affects users of virtual machine tools. After investigation, the update was re-launched, with a temporary pause for affected devices. Those using virtualization tools will not be able to install the update yet. An additional bug causing Taskbar display issues is being addressed. Microsoft is working on fixes for both issues. Users can manually check for updates to expedite the process. KB5039302 is a security and bug fix update with no new features. Microsoft recently released Copilot+ PCs with advanced AI capabilities.
