According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the revamped version of Siri is not expected to be available with the initial release of Apple Intelligence this year. The full new version of Siri is anticipated to launch with iOS 18.4 in the spring of 2025, following a beta testing period starting in January. This updated version of Siri will have enhanced capabilities, allowing it to control actions within apps based on context and on-screen information.
While Apple Intelligence is set to launch this fall, only certain Siri features, such as a new design and ChatGPT integration, will be available initially. Additionally, Gurman reported that the Apple Watch Series 10 and Apple Watch Ultra 3 will feature a new processor that could pave the way for future AI enhancements, but will not support Apple Intelligence. It has been noted that Apple Intelligence may come to the Vision Pro headset next year but is not expected to be introduced to the HomePod at this time.
