From Software has recently released a patch for their game Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree, aimed at making the game easier for players. The patch includes a new leveling system based on Scadutree fragments, in-game items that enhance a character's abilities to deal and resist damage. Following complaints from players about the DLC being too difficult, calibration update 1.12.2 has adjusted the attack and damage scaling of the Scadutree Blessing. The update increases attack and damage negation abilities for the first half of Blessing enhancements, with a more gradual progression in the second half. Additionally, the final level of Blessing enhancements has been slightly boosted. Although From Software games are known for their challenging nature, some players have found Shadow of the Erdtree even more difficult, attributing it to the new levelling system. This patch aims to address these concerns and create a more balanced gameplay experience.
