New TikTok Ad Feature: AI Avatars of Creators and Stock Actors to Enhance Engagement

TikTok unveiled new generative AI avatars for creators and brands to use in branded content and ads. This includes customizable avatars that creators can scale to reach global audiences and stock avatars featuring diverse actors for businesses to humanize their content. Despite concerns from Hollywood actors, creators have control over the use of their likenesses and can set rates and licensing terms. The platform also introduced an AI Dubbing tool that translates content into 10 languages, helping brands connect with international audiences. These new features are part of TikTok Symphony, a suite of ad solutions powered by generative AI. Despite facing potential U.S. ban risks, TikTok continues to expand its ads business, with recent data showing that over half of users have made purchases directly from TikTok ads.
