New title: Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer Joined by Dimitri Abold, Lewis Gribben, Katelyn Rose Downey, and Daniel Rigby in Prime Video's ‘Blade Runner 2099’ Sci-Fi Series

The highly anticipated series Blade Runner 2099 has announced a stellar cast, with Dimitri Abold and Lewis Gribben set to join Michelle Yeoh and Hunter Schafer as series regulars. Added to the mix are Katelyn Rose Downey, Daniel Rigby, Johnny Harris, Amy Lennox, Sheila Atim, and Matthew Needham in recurring guest roles. Production has already begun in Prague, with plans to move to Barcelona in the future. Showrunner Silka Luisa leads a powerhouse team of executive producers including Ridley Scott, Alcon Entertainment's Andrew Kosove and Broderick Johnson, and David W. Zucker among others. Jonathan van Tulleken will direct the first two episodes. This marks Alcon's return to the Blade Runner universe since Blade Runner 2049, following their acquisition of the rights in 2011. Gribben, Downey, Rigby, Lennox, and Needham are represented by top agencies and management, promising a talented and diverse ensemble for this exciting new chapter in the iconic sci-fi franchise.
