According to a report by ITHome, the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are expected to offer significantly faster charging speeds. The iPhone 16 Pro will reportedly support 20W charging with MagSafe and 40W wired fast charging, a notable increase from the current iPhone 15 models. Despite the increase in charging speeds, the larger batteries in the iPhone 16 Pro lineup are said to offset this improvement. There are also rumors that the iPhone 16 battery will have greater energy density and be easier to replace thanks to a new metal casing. To fast charge your iPhone, Apple recommends using a USB-C cable or a USB-C to Lightning cable with a compatible power adapter, such as Apple's 35W dual USB-C port. Third-party USB-C power adapters that support USB Power Delivery are also an option for fast charging.
