Derek Jeter, the former Yankees captain and Baseball Hall of Famer, has finally sold his luxurious lakefront compound in Greenwood Lake, N.Y., known as Tiedemann Castle. After being re-listed for half its original asking price, Jeter's estate, featuring a main house, guesthouse, pool house, and boat house, has found a buyer for an undisclosed price. The 12,500-square foot property boasts six bedrooms, 13 bathrooms, five kitchens, an infinity pool shaped like a baseball diamond, and medieval castle-like turrets. This sale comes after Jeter's failed attempts to sell his Tampa mansion in 2020 which eventually sold for less than the asking price. Despite his struggles in the real estate market, Jeter remains a legend in baseball history.
