After 41 seasons as host of "Wheel of Fortune," Pat Sajak is set to star in a new play alongside longtime friend Joe Moore in downtown Honolulu. The play, "Prescription: Murder," written by William Link and Richard Levinson, will have Sajak playing a brilliant psychiatrist planning to murder his wife, opposite Moore as Lt. Columbo. This will mark the ninth play Sajak has performed with Moore since 1993, serving as a fundraiser for the Hawaii Theatre where they have previously performed. The play is scheduled to run from July 31 to Aug. 10, 2025, with Rob Duval directing and a cast including Moore's son Bryce Moore. Sajak, known for his Emmy-winning hosting on "Wheel of Fortune," expressed mixed emotions about leaving the show but looks forward to future projects. Tickets for "Prescription: Murder" are available, with a commercial set to air during Sajak's final episode of "Wheel of Fortune."
