The winners of Nathan's Famous International Hot Dog Eating Contest, Patrick Bertoletti and Miki Sudo, bask in their victories by devouring an impressive number of hot dogs. Bertoletti dominated with 58 hot dogs, while Sudo set a women's record with 51 hot dogs. Bertoletti credited his success to a love for eating and not having to chew his food. Sudo, a 10-time women's title winner, expressed gratitude for the support behind her success. This year marked the first time in eight years that a new champion was crowned in the men's division, dethroning the reigning champ Joey Chestnut. Chestnut's absence was notable due to an alleged ban from the event after partnering with a competing brand. Despite this, fans enjoyed watching the intense competition at Coney Island.
