Pedro Almodóvar's highly anticipated first English-language feature film, "The Room Next Door," starring Julianne Moore and Tilda Swinton, is set to launch at the Venice Film Festival. Following his success with "Parallel Mothers," Almodóvar's latest work is expected to be a competition contender, exploring the complicated relationship between a flawed mother and her resentful daughter. The film is produced by Almodóvar's El Deseo banner and will be distributed by Sony Pictures Classics in the U.S. and Warner Bros. in other parts of the world. The Venice Film Festival's 81st edition promises to be star-studded, with high-profile titles from top Hollywood talents like Lady Gaga, Joaquin Phoenix, and Angelina Jolie. The festival will include films from Tim Burton, Todd Phillips, and Luca Guadagnino, making it a must-watch event in the film industry. Isabelle Huppert will preside over the main jury at the festival, which runs from Aug. 28 to Sept. 7, with the full lineup announced on July 23.
