According to a new rumor reported by GalaxyClub, the smallest model in the upcoming Galaxy S25 series will not see an upgrade in battery capacity. Testing has revealed that the Galaxy S25 will sport the same battery specs as the previous Galaxy S24, with a rated capacity of 3,881 mAh translating to an advertised typical capacity of 4,000 mAh. While details on the batteries for the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra remain unknown, Samsung has made strides in improving battery life on their compact models in recent years, thanks to more efficient chips. Fans are hoping that Samsung will not regress in this aspect when the Galaxy S25 series launches in the coming months. Rumors suggest that Samsung may utilize AI to enhance battery life on the Galaxy S25 models, but concrete evidence is lacking at this time. In the meantime, Samsung's attention is focused on their new foldable devices, with the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 set to be unveiled next month, promising a 300 mAh battery upgrade for the latter. Additionally, Samsung is expected to introduce a smart ring and Ultra-branded smartwatch at their upcoming event in Paris on July 10.
