Scooter Braun, known for managing some of the biggest names in the music industry, has officially announced his retirement from music management to fully focus on his role as CEO of Hybe America and to prioritize spending time with his children. This decision comes after rumors of tensions with clients like Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande. Braun stated that a conversation with a client last year confirmed his choice to step away from managing after more than 20 years. His investment firm merging with Hybe America played a significant role in his decision, as well as the toll his work-life balance took on his personal life. Despite stepping down, Braun expressed excitement to help Hybe grow and invest in new talent while still supporting his former clients' continued success. The management of his firm will now be led by Allison Kaye and Jennifer McDaniels, whom Braun praised as powerful women who will lead the industry forward.
