Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy Watch 7 and 7 Ultra with new features, including a Sleep Apnea detection feature that has started appearing on users' devices. The FDA cleared this feature in February, but it has yet to be utilized on any Galaxy Watch models until now. Users in the One UI Watch 6 beta program have reported seeing this feature after a Samsung Health Monitor app update on the Galaxy Watch 4, 5, and 6. The app requires two nights minimum to detect signs of sleep apnea by tracking blood oxygen levels. It is expected to launch with the Galaxy Watch 7, along with the full release of One UI Watch 6 for older models in the coming months. Users can reserve a $50 pre-order credit before Galaxy Unpacked, where the new watches will be revealed.
