Sonic Drive-In has entered the fast-food wars with the launch of its "Fun.99 Menu," featuring a variety of entrees, snacks, and desserts priced at $1.99 each. This new value menu includes items such as a quarter-pound double cheeseburger, Chili Cheese Coney hot dog, tater tots, shakes, and unique offerings like Bacon Ranch Queso Wraps and Southwest Crunch Queso Wraps. Sonic's Chief Marketing Officer, Ryan Dickerson, stated that the chain aimed to provide customers with affordable yet diverse food options, amidst a landscape of repetitive discounts and limited meal choices from other brands. Unlike limited-time offers from competitors like Burger King, McDonald's, and Taco Bell, Sonic plans to keep its "Fun.99 Menu" available at over 3,500 locations nationwide, catering to budget-conscious consumers looking for quality and variety in their fast-food options.
