Teen Dancer at Stadium of Fire Shares Experience of Being Struck by Fireworks

17-year-old dancer McKenzie Harvey was hit by fireworks during the Fourth of July celebration at Stadium of Fire in Provo. Despite sustaining burns on her arm, leg, and back, Harvey was determined to perform her routine. With the support of her studio director, she got bandaged up and returned to the stage, where she nailed her performance. Reflecting on the incident, Harvey expressed shock and pain but also pride in her strength and endurance. She emphasized the importance of pushing through challenges and was grateful to be okay. The unexpected turn of events did not deter Harvey from her passion for dance, and she demonstrated resilience and determination in the face of adversity.
