Tesla Cybertrucks have been issued two separate recalls by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration due to potential issues with trunk bed trims and front windshield wipers. Approximately 11,400 Cybertrucks may have loose or separate decorative trunk bed trim pieces, while almost 11,700 could experience front windshield wiper motor controller failure. These issues pose safety risks, with the potential for road hazards and increased crash risks. The recalls, initiated in response to reports submitted by Tesla, have not resulted in any casualties or accidents thus far. Affected customers will have the issues addressed by Tesla for free, with replacements or repairs offered as solutions. The recalls come seven months after the Cybertruck was introduced and added to Tesla's electric vehicle lineup. Despite production challenges, Tesla continues to ramp up production, aiming for cost efficiency and quality.
