Timothée Chalamet Set to Lead in Josh Safdie's Exciting Ping Pong Film 'Marty Supreme'

Timothée Chalamet is set to star in and produce a new film, "Marty Supreme," alongside directors Josh Safdie and Ronald Bronstein. The movie, inspired by the life of ping pong champion Marty Reisman, will follow the story of a professional ping pong player with plot details currently under wraps. This project marks Chalamet's next venture following his role as Bob Dylan in "A Complete Unknown." Safdie's first film since "Uncut Gems," "Marty Supreme" will explore the world of competitive ping pong and is expected to showcase the raw and gritty filmmaking style the Safdie brothers are known for. With Chalamet's involvement and A24's backing, this film is promising to deliver an engaging and unforgettable experience for audiences. A24 is also producing Benny Safdie’s upcoming MMA biopic “The Smashing Machine” starring Dwayne Johnson as Mark Kerr.
