Tragic Accident: Disneyland Employee Passes Away After Fall from Moving Golf Cart at Park

A tragic incident occurred at Disneyland as a long-time employee, Bonnye Mavis Lear, died after falling from a moving golf cart. Lear, who had worked at the resort for 24 years, was critically injured and brought to the hospital with severe head trauma. Despite medical efforts, she passed away two days later. The accident took place backstage at the theme park, prompting a response from Anaheim Police and Fire and Rescue personnel.
Ken Potrock, president of Disneyland Resort, expressed his condolences and emphasized support for Lear's family and colleagues. The 60-year-old Fullerton resident had been an integral part of Club 33, a prestigious dining club within Disneyland. The club, located in New Orleans Square, has been a private retreat for members since 1967.
As authorities continue to investigate the tragic incident, Disneyland mourns the loss of a beloved member of its community.
