Anthony Bray, a 48-year-old man in the UK, has been sentenced to four months in prison for carrying a 6-inch Master Sword replica in public. Despite Bray's claims that the sword was purchased as a fidget toy, he was arrested in Nuneaton, Warwickshire after being seen walking around town center with the miniature weapon held out in front of him. While Bray insisted he would never use it as a weapon, he was charged with carrying a bladed article, which is illegal in the UK without good reason. Sgt Spellman of Warwickshire Police emphasized their zero-tolerance policy towards bladed articles in public and highlighted that Bray could have avoided the situation with more self-awareness. Bray's past offences, including burglary, were also noted during the sentencing.
