iOS 18 brings support for RCS, enhancing messaging between iPhone and Android users. With the release of iOS 18 beta 2, carriers in the US began enabling RCS for iPhone beta testers. To check if your carrier supports RCS on iOS 18, follow these steps: Open Settings, tap on "General," then "About," scroll down to eSIM/Network details, tap on "Carrier." If RCS is enabled, you'll see "Voice, SMS & RCS." Make sure to enable RCS in the Settings app as well. If your carrier doesn't support RCS yet, don't worry as more carriers are expected to roll out support leading up to the public release of iOS 18 in September.
