New text formatting options, such as bold, italicize, and animated effects, make messages more creative. Tapbacks now include any emoji or sticker, with personalized Live Stickers available. Messages with satellite capabilities enable texting without Wi-Fi or cellular connection on iPhone 14 and later models. RCS messaging support allows iPhone users to communicate with Android users through improved media sharing. Apple Intelligence introduces AI features like generating text suggestions and creating unique images, enhancing communication. These changes will also be available on iPad and Mac, with some features delayed until the end of the year.
