The latest Windows 11 update, dubbed version 24H2, is now available on new Copilot+ PCs but not yet generally accessible for existing Windows 11 devices. However, there is a simple way to get it on your computer now by joining the Windows Insider Program. To do so, open Windows Settings, select "Windows Update," then "Windows Insider Program," and follow the prompts to link your account and select the "Release Preview" option. After restarting your computer, check for updates, and you should see Windows 11 version 24H2 available for download. Once installed, you can opt-out of the Insider Program and enjoy the new features. Note that this update does not include Copilot+ PC features for non-compatible hardware. If you're on an Intel or AMD PC, you can still download version 24H2 without missing out on the enhancements.
