Samsung has recently launched the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 with the new One UI 6.1.1, featuring advanced Galaxy AI features for tasks like image editing and QR code scanning. The company has confirmed that these features will also be extended to older Galaxy phones and tablets through the One UI 6.1.1 update by December 2024. Samsung's Omnichannel Strategy Director mentioned during the Galaxy Unpacked event that select Galaxy devices will receive the new Galaxy AI features. The Galaxy S24 series smartphones, with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset as the new foldable phones, are expected to receive all the new Galaxy AI features. This update will bring significant enhancements to older devices like the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy S23 series.
