Warren Buffett recently revealed that he holds about $600 million in personal assets apart from his Berkshire Hathaway stock, which represents 99.5% of his net worth. The renowned investor and Berkshire CEO made headlines by donating $5.3 billion of his company's shares to charitable foundations over the years. With $127 billion in Berkshire A shares and a few million dollars in other assets like B shares and his home, Buffett's remaining wealth is likely held in his private portfolio of stocks and bonds. ProPublica reported on Buffett's ownership of significant stakes in companies like Wells Fargo, Walmart, and Johnson & Johnson, as well as his history of selling stock and bonds between 2000 and 2019. Despite his modest salary from Berkshire, Buffett's wealth is supported by dividends and income from his personal investments.
